Soneium is the blockchain project backed by Sony. It's an Ethereum Layer 2 built on the OP Stack, the same technology powering networks like Optimism and Base, developed together with Startale Labs. Think of it as Sony's bet on mainstream Web3 adoption: fast 2-second blocks, EVM-compatible, and designed to support gasless experiences through account abstraction.

The Soneium Score is the engagement layer on top: a seasonal points system that tracks how actively you use the network. It's Sony's way of building a verified registry of real users before any token launch, if $SONY ever drops, your badge history will be your proof of participation.

5. Claim your soulbound badge NFT at portal.soneium.org. The badge is non-transferable, it stays permanently linked to your wallet.
