Magic Eden

Magic Eden is an NFT marketplace. Users can buy, mint, sell and trade NFTs across several blockchains. Supported chains include Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Base, ApeChain, Arbitrum, Sei, BNB Chain and Polygon, among others. The list of chains changes over time, so check the site for the current one.

It is made for NFT collectors, traders and creators. Creators can launch their own collections through its Launchpad. A Swap feature lets users swap tokens across different chains. Users must follow the laws and tax rules of their own country.

1. Open magiceden.io and click Connect Wallet.
2. Choose a wallet provider, such as Phantom for Solana or MetaMask for Ethereum and Polygon.
3. Approve the connection request in your wallet.
4. Make sure the wallet holds enough native tokens to cover the price and transaction fees.
5. Select a collectible and confirm the payment.

Use it when:

• You want to browse and trade NFTs on several chains in one place.
• You want to mint new NFT collections.
• You want a self-custody setup where you keep control of your wallet.
• You are a creator who wants to launch a collection.

Not ideal if:

• You do not want to deal with NFTs or wallets.
• You are not ready to pay network and transaction fees.
• You need a platform for trading standard tokens only.
